Hwy. 62 & 105 in Orangefield area

This carpet outlet store is just down 105 from the Orangefield schools, where my mother works and my sister and I went to school. Between this place and the schools is the Cow Bayou, whose bridge is impassible.

So it's not looking good for the schools. I guess they're looking at combining with other school districts or working out of portable buildings for the forseeable future. As a teacher, I think of all the hand-made materials and accumulation of things that are really irreplacable--it's not something you can just go out and buy, but rather many, many hours of work ruined.
