So you're getting married on 7-7-07, are you? How unique! Certainly good luck will follow you all the years of your marriage--that is, the two years that lead up to your wife running into her ex-boyfriend on a girls' night out at the local white trash club after consuming too many tutti-fruitties.
Yes, 37,000 weddings are set to take place nationwide on the "luckiest" day of the century, July 7, 2007 (an average Saturday sees 12,000 weddings), including Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. I've also read about women planning to have inductions and c-sections to ensure their babies are born lucky.
You'll be sure not to forget about this, because the news stations can't get enough of it. For months, story after story about bride after bride and their shmucky fiances litter the otherwise intellectually stimulating local newscasts.
They're not even alone. CNN Headline News--ever the ardent follower of American Idol/water-skiing squirrel/Paris Hilton-type "human interest" stories--has been falling all over for months it as well. Darfur? UK terror plots? Scooter Libby? Who cares?! It's 7-7-7!

Wow...what to do on the luckiest day ever. Hmmm, maybe an astros game...you interested?
Sure, though it'll probably be the other team who gets lucky.
Anyone else? (And we don't talk to strangers. It's not that kind of blog.)
What about July 7, 2077, that should be even luckier, or July 7, 2777. If I am alive 770 years from that is going to be an awesome day.
Incidentally Lost 3 comes out December 11, 2007. Thats a lucky freakin day.
